A great success for the team from Funboard Center Boracay at the Funboard Cup 2015

Just a casual walk on the beach can reveal this to every visitor as children can been seen playing at the waters edge, at low tide Sea Stars in abundance can be seen to have returned. The visiting windsurfers and kite boarders continue to blast their way happily through Bulabogs ever improving clean sea water.

The second YOGA-Camp++ was an outstanding event and has pleasesd all participants. The Camp keeps you activ without getting stressed and focus in first instance on your kite-and windsurfing classes. But some loves to do all and started the day with an early sunrise yoga meditation and have been perfectly prepared for the first kite- or windsurfing lesson. Some even doesn't like the water and joined only the Yoga classes or chilled out at the beach with a fresh Mango-shake watching their friends successfully riding on the board.

With great satisfaction we completed our first Yoga Camp ++ at Funbaord Center Boracay so we look forward to our next Yoga Camp ++ in March 2015. The Funboard Center  Boracay likes to optmize your time on and off the water and offers together with Yoga Boracay a special camp that combines kiteboarding, windsurfing and Yoga. The camp is a modular system so you can choose kiteboarding or windsurfing classes with daily yoga. We welcome non watersports companions to join just the yoga. 1 week Yoga Camp ++ includes accommodation in REEF RETREAT, daily yoga and an 8 hours kite-or windsurfing course with equipment. The finale of the camp is the sunset cruise for the group around the island with traditional Philippine BBQ at White Beach. The number of participants is limited. Book now to avoid missing out...

The team from Funboard Center Boracay has joined the 26th International Funboard Cup 2015. With a lot of fun and even more success our windsurfe and kiteboarde instructor could finish the 5 days race at Bulabog Beach. Gido is our best windsurfer and belongs still to the Top 3 of all participants. In mens class he became 1st runner up!  Simone is the fastest femal windsurfer on her 76l Manta from Gaastra.With 22miles/hour she broke the record in this competition. Our kiteboard instructor Doque and Palong deserve the 1st price for keep smiling even without any awarding! Next time! Our congrates to Gordon Gelito. He belongs to the Philippine National Team and he is the Champion of this event.

This is to pay homage to our local kitesurfer Glynn from Funboard Center Boracay and Gordon Gelito, one of Philippines National Teamriders in windsurfing. Both did a great job when a promenader found out that a swimmer was caught in the waves close to the reef on New Year's Day. Bulabog Beach was still sleeping, just the wind has blown more than 28 knots and created huge waves on the reef. We hardly could see the head of the New Year's swimmer...

Funboard Center Boracay and Freestyle Champion Taner Aykurt, have created an ideal KITESURF Camp for intermediate and advanced kitesurfers who want to progress and step up to the next level.Taner will teach higher jumps, different transitions, unhooked tricks, Railey or your first kiteloops. The Camp offers 5 days of kite surf coaching, down winders, freeriding, daily yogaclss and free time for relaxing. All these experiences will make your kite surfing holidays outstanding.

Just in time we have received the newest windsurf equipment. The trendy neon colours has reached the sailing maker and gives the impression of butterflies dancing on the water. We just tried the freeride sail from Gaastra with16 knots windstrength. The SAVAGE is the perfect sail for all windsurfers who want to be the fastest on the water. This powerfull freeride sail became light as it has no camber and rotates easily in the jibe or other manoevers. The Pure will suit any freestyler, regardless of level.

The season 2014/15 can start. The wind has just canged from White Beach to Aisa’s best kite - and windsurfing spot in Bulabog. A full breeze of Amihan made all kitesurfer’s happy........... Bulabog has been awaken after a long summer break and all kite-and winsurfing Schools get ready for the season. Colourful kites decorating the sky, surfschools are risung the flaggs and welcome the first kite-and windsurf student.
