Boracay's Kiteboarder have successfully completed round 1 of Asia's Kiteboarding Tour

For the first time Bintan Island in Indonesia has hosted the grand opening of the Asian Championship Tour - KTA 2013. Taner Aykurt, who has chosen Boracay as his winter destination and works part-time as a Kite-Instructor for Funboard Center Boracay, has successfully completed round 1 and made it twice to the Top 3.

4th KITEBOARD TOUR AISA at Bulabog Beach, Boracay

Asia's greatest Kitesurfing Competition KTA will be hold coming month on Boracay. The event takes place from the 26.-30.of March 2013 on the most beautiful island of the Philippines. Bulabog beach side of Boracay is well known as Asia’s best place for kiteboarding and windsurfing as the wind is pretty consistent and the bay is protected by a large reef, promises flat water for better perfomance in freestyle as well for all races.

Kiteboarding courses at Bulabog Beach

Bulabog Beach presents again it's bright side: Sunshine, clear blue sky and inviting wind condition for kiteboarding and windsurfing. Watertemperatur up to 26 degrees do not only warming the heart of every Windsurfer and Kiteboarder; but allows long kite-lessons without getting cold feet ;-)  Funboard Center Boracay is located at an expanded beach and gives all students more safty while landing and launching the kite. An offshore sandbar allows kite-teaching in knee deep water even if the water level gets high.

Funboard Center Boracay joins the Red Cross Volunteer Run 2013

Wind-and Kitesurfers from Funboard Center Boracay join the Red Cross Volunteer Run 2013.THE BORACAY Red Cross was scheduled to hold the 2nd Boracay “Million Volunteer Run” on Sunday, the 10th of February 2013. Even though the start was timed at 6 am on Sunday morning most volunteers did not hesitate to get up early to join this event.
